Georgi Georgiev Paunov (Paunets Jr.) is a Bulgarian artist, born on 18 September 1963 in the city of Varna, where he lives and paints from the heart.He has participated in a number of exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad, and his works are owned by museums, galleries, and private collectors in countries such as Austria, Germany, France, Japan, and others.He is the illustrator of several books and made reproductions of "Taina vecherya" (The Last Supper) by Leonardo da Vinci for the monastery "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" in St. Spasovo. He is a member of the Society of Bulgarian Artists "Ticha" (city of Sliven).Since the end of 2007, he lived and created on the island of Corsica (France), and in 2013, he received a silver medal for culture from the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Paris. In 2019, he returned to Bulgaria and continues to work in his native town of Smyadovo.
